Bellevue's Varsity Boys Lacrosse team enters 2013 with high hopes as they attempt to build on their run of success over the past several years. They return several players from last years State Championship Team, including attackmen Cole Johnson and Hank Bethke and Defenseman Blake Backer - all of which are pre-season 1st Team All State, according to walax.com. There's experience at Midfield as well, with seniors Simon Jenkins and Dakota Jones (both pre-season 2nd Team All State) looking to put their stamp on Bellevue Lacrosse for the class of 2013. The season features an early season match-up against the always tough Issaquah Eagles on 3/19, and then a trip to New York to play 3 storied programs back east over spring break before settling back into the regular season - a season they hope will conclude with another championship.
